Diesel Delivery

JOB PURPOSE:

As a driver working for RKA you will specialize in onsite diesel unit filling. Your duties in this career revolve around driving a non CDL service truck to deliver diesel fuel. Your responsibilities will include carrying diesel to assigned locations and pumping it from your truck into vehicles and equipment. You may also be responsible for making sure that your truck and any pumping equipment are in working order and operating safely.

$18-22/HOUR

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a chauffeur license.
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Experience working safely on a job site
  • Excellent work ethic and team-work skills
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, crawl, climb and reach difficult areas as job demands

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Transportation Specialist to ensure schedules allow for on-time deliveries and superior customer service performance by delivering the correct products and quantities.
  • Communicates effectively verbally and in writing to customers and other employees.
  • Performs truck safety inspections, verification of product loading, and preparation of operational and DOT forms and records.
  • Maintain truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre-and post-trip inspections.
  • Communicate customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow-up.
  • Performs other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
